The rich Bio-diversity of Nepal is gifted with the cast resources of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. It has been used since the centuries as food, health acare products, flavors and fragrances. The country has over 200 species of aromatic plants (Adhikary 1989). Many plant species are exported to industrialized countries as raw material for drug, fragrance and flavor industries.

JABAN has been established in the year 1995. The main objective of Jaban is to make sustainable use of the country resources and provide necessary support to the rural community for producing and marketing quality products. JABAN is also committed to be attentive for making maximum use of raw materials to produce consumer goods and support to such entrepreneur. In this short time we have tried to introduce our herbal resources to the national and international market. JABAN is always careful for conservation, quality products, buyer's interest and the prompt supply and service excellence. This event is path breaking initiative of JABAN that will bring together manufacturers importers, exporters, dealers, suppliers and service providers, policy makers and consultants at one platform, which will provide direct support to the communities related to NTFP prodession.
